Tour of the Southern Highlands confirms Jakroo Custom Apparel for 4th Consecutive Year

JAKROO Sponsors ToSHThe Tour of the Southern Highlands Stage Race (ToSH) confirms Jakroo Custom Apparel as exclusive apparel sponsor for 4th consecutive year.

The ToSH is the only Pro/Am stage race east of the Rockies that doubles as a Junior National selection race. The race draws more than 500 pro/elite, masters and amateurs for up to three days of racing and boasts more than $12,000 dollars in cash and prizes. ToSH also offers young athletes a chance for selection to represent the United States on an international stage.

Racing begins Friday, Feb 28, 2020, with a championship length, individual time trial for Pro/Elite men, women and elite juniors. (An open, non-stage race, community category is available for any athletes interested in testing themselves against the clock). Elite & Pro racing continues in downtown Woodstock with a Friday night twilight criterium. On Saturday, Amateurs and Masters join the stage race with a fast, rolling circuit race, in downtown Ballground. All racing concludes Sunday, with a challenging road race through the Highlands, surrounding Ballground.

Frankie Andreu joins Tour of Southern Highlands’ team as 2020 race announcer

Frankie Andreu The Tour of Southern Highlands (ToSH), welcomes Frankie Andreu as the 2020 Race Announcer. Andreu is a ’96 Olympian, and 13-time Grand Tour rider, including 9 Tours de France.

The Tour of Southern Highlands, is the best early season stage race on the East coast, and the only Junior National Team Selection race east of the Rocky Mountains.

“We are really excited about Frankie joining our 2020 crew. After years of watching him race, then listening to his professional commentary, I can’t wait to hear him at the ToSH,” stated Tom Driscoll, ToSH Technical Director.

“I love the early season races when everyone is ready to test their legs. The Tour of the Southern Highlands with their stage race format of TT, criterium, and road races provides a great launch pad for the 2020 cycling season. The events are exciting, the courses challenging, and I look forward to race announcing the up and coming juniors as well as the established pros trying to start their season with victories,” said Andreu, who has been involved in directing professional race teams and announcing events, since retiring from professional cycling.
