Want to volunteer a few of hours of your time during the 2022 Tour of the Southern Highlands? It’s a lot of fun and a great way to get a front row seat to watch the race, while being involved in an exciting Woodstock and Ball Ground cycling event.

Not too familiar with how to work at a bicycle race? Don’t worry, we will explain your duties. Our biggest needs are on Friday in the morning and also during the Downtown Criterium in the evening. Since we have a lot of ground to cover for the road race in Ball Ground on Sunday, March 1st, we need help to provide enough course marshals and other help.
Host Housing – Host a cyclist or team!
Local Volunteers are needed to host top cyclists from around the country and around the world who will be competing in the 2022 Tour of the Southern Highlands Stage Race. This unique opportunity offers you the chance to get to know top riders and to get a peek behind the scenes of the racing lifestyle. Lifelong friendships are often formed.
Host homes need to provide: a space (couch, air mattress, or floor room is fine) for each rider to rest/sleep, bathe, food storage/prep, and garage or other safekeeping space for bicycles. Host homes ARE NOT expected to provide transportation or food. The riders will provide their own transportation and meals.
Whether you are in Woodstock, Ball Ground or in the metro Atlanta area; whether you can host one or two riders, or you and your neighbors can host a full team of 8-10; we want to hear from you!
